As The Vindys finished work on their new album last year, the pandemic was starting to change the world.

The impact was felt when the band's lead singer Jackie Popovec stepped into a recording studio in March 2020. She stripped off her face covering and belted out her vocals into a sanitized microphone to cut the album's final track.

"We were very mindful and COVID conscious," she recalled. "We were doing Zoom meetings and everything.

But the project, recorded with Mike Estock in early 2020 at Canfield’s Court Street Recording Studio, was put on hold when the coronavirus pandemic reached Ohio in the spring of 2020, said singer Jackie Popovec.
